Long-term vent and trach patients moving between home, skilled nursing, and hospital appointments.

Equipment used

Onboard power for ventilators, backup oxygen, portable suction, spare trach supplies, and monitoring throughout.

What to expect

  • We review vent settings and supply needs with the sending nurse before pickup.
  • Circuits, oxygen, and power are checked twice, at pickup and before departure.
  • The crew stays with the patient until receiving staff formally take over care.
